What's coming in the next update: New Gonka Devshard v2 test sharding. Improved fund distribution in Devshard. Preparation for testnet update.
A new version of the Gonka Devshard v2 test sharding is under development. This update will allow testing new features independently of the mainnet, which will accelerate the development and implementation of improvements. V2 is expected to run in parallel with the current version.
A fix is planned for the mechanism of distributing unfinished funds in the Devshard test sharding. Funds will now be distributed more fairly, based on the number of slots, not unique validator addresses. This will ensure correct validator remuneration for each slot.
Active preparation is underway to update the test network to version v0.2.13 Devshard. This update includes a number of internal improvements and optimizations that will lay the foundation for future Gonka releases.
