Digest #30: July 20 – July 26, 2026

The Gonka network has been successfully updated to version v0.2.14. This update introduced several important changes aimed at improving security and efficiency. Specifically, protection against duplicate computation results was enhanced, and early error detection was implemented. Furthermore, deprecated parts of the AI API were removed to simplify the system. Hosts do not need to manually update their containers, as the update occurs automatically through an on-chain vote.

The proposal for a temporary update to the BLS signature parameters has been passed. 100% of participants voted in favor. This change is aimed at improving the security and stability of the network.

The proposal for reseller partnerships and setting up analytics for user acquisition has been rejected. Although the majority voted 'Yes', a significant portion of the votes were 'Veto' (40.1%).

The proposal to update the network to version v0.2.14 was passed by an overwhelming majority (99.96% 'Yes'). This vote allowed for the implementation of all changes described in the v0.2.14 release, improving the performance and security of the Gonka network.
